Patients who have had ear surgery, have ear tubes, or suffer from swimmer's ear are often advised by a physician to avoid getting water into their ears. As a solution to this problem, EN&T Associates offers custom-made water protection plugs and swim bands. Our swim plugs are made in the office and are usually ready to take with you within 15 to 20 minutes. Because the plugs are custom fit, they are more effective than the over-the-counter plugs found at many drug stores. Instruction on insertion, removal, and cleaning of the plugs is included. We carry all sizes of swim bands to fit infants through adults. The swim bands are made of water resistant material and are worn over swim plugs to give an added layer of protection. Both the plugs and bands may be worn while either swimming or bathing.
