Dr. James Spencer Dr. Spencer
began his practice in Charleston in 1948 upon completion of
postgraduate medical training in Philadelphia. He developed
the practice of bronchoesophagology and laryngeal surgery,
performing the first laryngectomy in Charleston for cancer
of the larynx at the Charleston General Hospital in 1948. He
retired in 1998 after 50 years of practice.
He and his wife, Frances, live in Charleston. Dr. Spencer
continues to attend medical conferences and meets weekly
with a group of retired colleagues. He is an avid user of
the internet and stays current on many topics. |

Dr. Ronald L.Wilkinson Dr.
Wilkinson retired in 2001 after 26 years with Ear, Nose &
Throat Associates of Charleston, Inc. He received his
Medical Degree from West Virginia University School of
Medicine and did an internship at Yale - New Haven Hospital.
During his years with EN&T, he trained many medical
students. His dedication and strong work ethic, along with
his compassionate care for his patients, were an exemplary
example to those who had the privilege of working with him.
His great support for his alma mater, West Virginia
University, has led him back to Morgantown where he
currently teaches at the University and sees patients in the
WVU Clinic. |

Dr. Roger P. Nichols Dr. Nichols
joined EN&T Associates in 1974, having recently retired in
September 2003. In February of 2003, Governor Bob Wise
presented him with a Certificate of Appreciation for 33
years of service with the State of West Virginia Children
With Special Care Needs.
Prior to his retirement, Dr. Nichols had the privilege of
working two years with his son, Dr. Todd Nichols. He also
has two other children, Becky McCord, who is also employed
with EN&T, and Brian. Much of his free time is now spent
with his six grandchildren. |
